Pues ha sido un Direct muy decente de ARMS. Empiezo a ver el juego con buenos ojos, pinta muy bien de hecho. También han enseñado un pequeño trailer del modo historia de Splatoon 2 y han confirmado joycons rosa y verde, mando Pro de Splatoon y pack de la consola con el juego.

Un código de descarga para Splatoon 2 se podrá comprar en tiendas, al menos en Japón

Nintendo is doing something slightly unusual for Splatoon 2’s physical release in Japan. In addition to the regular physical version, the Switch console bundle and a download code for the game you can buy in stores, you can get a “game card free” version of Splatoon 2. This is the regular game case, but instead of a cartridge, it comes with a download code for the game. This is intended for people who prefer to own a digital copy of the game, but still want a game case for their collection.

At the moment, it seems like you can only get this version at the Japanese My Nintendo store, though it’s possible some retailers might carry it as well.

Given how popular Splatoon is in Japan, Nintendo could probably get away with just selling the game case without the actual game at all and it would still be a sales hit!

Ubi quiere seguir siendo la third occidental dominante para plataformas Nintendo

Ubisoft has confirmed its commitment to Nintendo platforms in its recent earnings call. The third-party publisher and developer wants to continue to be the dominant third party publisher on Nintendo platforms going forward and they plan to do this by supporting the Nintendo Switch with a variety of interesting games. Ubisoft also said that they are incredibly pleased at how well the Nintendo Switch is selling and that it truly has the potential to reach a huge audience.

“… And on top of this, as we have said for quite some time now, we will be delivering some great games for the Switch. The platform’s launch is going incredibly well and we believe the Switch has the potential to reach wide audience. As you know, Ubisoft has been the leading third-party publisher on Nintendo’s console over the past 10 years, and we intend to maintain that position.”

Pues de momento está dejando escapar dinero sencillo y rápido. Luego querrán que la gente compre su juego antes que Mario Odyssey por ejemplo.

Yo creo que van a anunciar el crossover para otoño,  antes de Mario Odyssey.
