Animal Crossing: New Leaf vendió mas de 505,000 combinando fisico y digital en Junio.

Lo de The Last of Us es impresionante. Naughty Dog te coloca una nueva IP a finales de gen y vende a espuertas. Sea cual sea el método de venta del juego, por así decirlo, es muy meritorio.

Por otro lado, las ventas de Luigi's Mansion 2 son impresionantes. Next Level Games lo merece, han hecho un gran trabajo. Espero que Nintendo les encargue otro "reboot".

No entiendo que todavía venda más Wii que WiiU cuando hace que no sacan algo para la primera la tira...

Espero que se acabe el stock de Wii cuanto antes.

Los ganadores de este mes son The Last of us y 3DS. Parece que Nintendo ha conseguido enderezar la situación de su portátil y, aunque no alcanzará a DS, tendrá unas ventas más que dignas. Ahora le toca el más difícil todavía y repetir la jugada con Wii U. Naughty Dog se ha convertido en uno de los estudios más importantes de Sony, ahora también en ventas. Tras su descenso en la ├ºepoca de PS2, parece que han conseguido dar con la tecla y esta generación han lanzado dos franquicias con éxito. Impresionante el estreno rozando el millón de ventas.

El resto de consolas, necesitan una rebaja y/o juegos. Parece que estén jugando a quién se raja antes.

A strong second month for Animal Crossing: New Leaf helped sales of Nintendo 3DS hardware and software increase by 14 and 45 percent, respectively, over the same time frame last year.

Highlights for the month include:

Animal Crossing: New Leaf sold more than 150,000 combined physical and digital units in its second month on the market, bringing its lifetime total to more than 660,000 combined units.

The lifetime total for LuigiÔÇÖs Mansion: Dark Moon for Nintendo 3DS surpassed 820,000 combined physical and digital units.

New Super Mario Bros. U for Wii U surpassed 830,000 lifetime sales of combined physical and digital units.

EarthBound launched July 18 for the Virtual Console service on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U and is off to a great start. Only two eShop titles, New Super Luigi U and Pikmin 3, generated more consumer spend in the same time period since launch.

Nintendo 3DS and Wii U fans will have a lot to play this summer and through the rest of 2013. Starting with the recently released Pikmin 3 (Wii U, Aug. 4) and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (Nintendo 3DS, Aug. 11) and continuing with The Wonderful 101 (Wii U, Sept. 15), Pokémon X and Pokémon Y (Nintendo 3DS, Oct. 12), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U, October), Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U, November), The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (Nintendo 3DS, November) and Super Mario 3D World (Wii U, December).

Interestingly, the buzz around GTA V seems to be building, judging by the sudden interest again in GTA IV. "If the top software was ranked on an SKU basis, the following would have made the top 10 for July: 3DS Shin Megami Tensei IV; 3DS Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon; 360 Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition. It is unusual to see a software SKU that launched close to three years ago appear in the top 10, but clearly this is an indication that gamers who missed Grand Theft Auto IV are catching up before Grand Theft Auto Launches V launches in September," Callahan said.

Una saga minoritaria en EEUU superando a las entregas anteriores, a pesar de las peores ventas de 3DS respecto a DS. Atlus estaría contenta si su matriz no estuviera en quiebra. Y notch en estos momentos debe usar papel higiénico de seda con la que ha ganado gracias a Minecraft.

Teniendo en cuenta que lo vendían a un precio premium (50$), pues no está nada mal.
