Como bien dice Dabra, en esos datos a WiiU (y al resto de consolas también) le falta una semana más de noviembre. Lo que sabemos de forma precisa es que Wii vendió 476.000 en sus primeros 8 días en USA y WiiU ha vendido 425.000 en su primera semana. De todas formas, voy a copiarme a mí mismo lo que escribí en otro hilo:

Las cifras de ventas de las consolas en sus primeras semanas son más bien anecdóticas y no reflejan bien las tendencias de ventas futuras. ¿Por qué? Porque esas cifras están extremadamente limitadas por la cantidad de consolas que haya dado tiempo a fabricar.

Será en abril cuando se verá si realmente WiiU ha empezado con buen pie o no en el terreno comercial. Entonces saldrá el dato de cuantas WiiU se han distribuido hasta el 31 de marzo en todo el mundo. Si consiguen el objetivo de fabricar y distribuir a las tiendas los 5'5 millones que se han marcado como objetivo, y si de esos 5'5 millones venden un 80-90%, entonces será un lanzamiento exitoso sin ninguna duda. Si no llegan a 5'5 millones, si no que se quedan en digamos 4 millones o menos... o si venden sólo el 50-60% de lo que distribuyen... entonces se podrá hablar de fracaso. Todas las cantidades y porcentajes intermedios corresponderían a un lanzamiento correcto sin más.

Lo que es verdaderamente preocupante para Nintendo es la 3DS, que no es NADA normal que en sus segundas navidades venda un 32% menos que en las primeras. Y con WiiU, pese a que los resultados iniciales son buenos, preveo unas ventas correctas pero sin destacar durante el primer año, por lo que vaticino que la rebajarán 50 euros a finales del 2013.

En Neogaf he pillado un dato muy curioso que ha elaborado un forero. Aquí está el top combinado de los más vendidos con el número verdadero de secuelas:

The holiday season has come and gone, we've started a new year, and now we can look back at 2012. The NPD Group has just released its final monthly retail sales report and provided the totals for last year. There's no way to pretty up this car wreck. December saw total industry sales at retail drop by 22 percent, and all of 2012 was also down 22 percent at US retail. Industry sales in December came to $3.21 billion, bringing 2012's haul to $13.26 billion (compared to 2011's almost $17 billion).

Video game hardware was down 20 percent in December, totaling $1.07 billion and down 27 percent for the year, totaling $4.04 billion. Software in December (including PC) fell 27 percent to $1.58 billion while the annual total dipped 22 percent to $7.09 billion. Accessories also fell 8 percent for the year, totaling $2.51 billion.

Nintendo sold more than 2.65 million hardware units in the United States in the month of December. 2012 marked the 11th consecutive year that Nintendo has sold at least 8 million hardware units in the U.S. Other Nintendo sales milestones achieved in December 2012 and beyond that time frame, include:

Lo que viene es una rebaja de por lo menos 100€...y si ni asi despegan sus ventas, más que curvas lo que viene es una cuesta abajo sin frenos hasta que llegue el PUM definitivo.

Las ventas de Wii U me parecerían correctas si no fuese porque Nintendo espera vender 5,5 millones hasta finales de Marzo que es una cifra que no se va a lograr ni de lejos.

Una sorpresa las ventas de 3DS. No esperaba que superase el millón.

3DS estos primeros 6 meses de 2013 va a mantenerse en Occidente de forma aceptable.

Wii U genera más beneficios que Wii, pero de poco importa si los gastos de la consola son mayores (Recordemos que la venden con pérdidas y no lo recuperan con la compra de un juego adicional).

Wii U necesita urgentemente un Nintendo Direct que cree expectativas y anuncien carnaza para los próximos meses.

Sorprende ver a Nintendo Land tan abajo. Me pregunto si la gente estará juzgando erroneamente el juego... desde mi punto de vista es mil veces mejor que Wii Sports.
