La hora de los minoristas (recopilación que he hecho esta semana):

- Minoristas siguen debatiendo sobre el éxito que tendrá One Piece Pirates Musou 2. El hype que provocó la primera entrega no está. Sin embargo la entrega de PSP está vendiendo bien. Lo que les dice que la saga sigue siendo muy popular. Por eso aunque haya una inevitable caída respecto la primera entrega, aún se esperan números considerables.
Un minorista bromea sobre cómo se repartirán las ventas entre PS3 y PSV. Dice que una relación de 10-1, a favor de PS3.
- Los minoristas esperan una subida de PSV para marzo con Tales of Hearts R, Soul Sacrifice, One Piece, Atelier Meruru y Muramasa. Se esperaba que God Eater 2 saliese también en marzo, pero como no se ha dicho nada se supone que saldrá en abril.
- Senran Kagura está aumentando su popularidad gracias al Anime que se está emitiendo. Hay buenas vibraciones.
- No hay la misma expectación con el Digimon Adventure que sale esta semana, respecto el Digimon ReBig Grinigitize que salió el verano pasado.
- Las reservas del Professor Layton 6 han empezado más fuertes que las de Layton VS Ace Attorney. (Adelante Level 5, ya tienes vía libre para distribuir más de 500k).

Por lo demás, y como durante todo el año pasado, parece que sólo 3DS venderá bien este año.
... las ventas serán horribles, pero eso no creo que lo eviten con un anuncio, ni con un lanzamiento cercano. Lo que está por salir para la consola pronto es un Wario Ware, Pikmin3, Wii Fit y DQX. Dudo que alguno de estos anime considerablemente las ventas de la consola. Así que van a tener que aceptar las bajas ventas de la consola y planear su futuro a largo plazo. Esta es una de las ventajas de salir pronto. Nintendo tiene más margen de maniobra que si hubiera salido al mismo tiempo.

Eso es evidente, por el pobre lineup ya se intuía un "primeros meses de 3DS 2.0" (aunque por las ventas de esta semana casi podríamos hablar de "Vita 2.0"), y si bien no es una situación deseable, ya sabemos que saliendo tanto tiempo antes que la competencia (incluso más que 3DS) le puede ayudar a ir madurando un catálogo y tener a los pesos pesados listos para hacerle la cama cuando salga (para estas navidades veo un Mario Kart Wii U fijo, y a saber qué más). Pero como decía, aunque la situación es perfectamente reversible, no sé hasta que punto es deseable perjudicar la marca con las consolas cogiendo polvo en las estanterías de las tiendas mientras tanto.

Además está el tema de la portabilización de Japón, con una 3DS tan fuerte este año no sé cuánto lugar quedará para Wii U (y PS4). Me parece que el mercado de consolas de sobremesa se va a reducir aún más que la generación anterior en Japón.

Ya hay datos de los juegos más vendidos del 2012 (según Famitsu):

Algunas observaciones:

- Fire Emblem Awakening consiguió superar en ventas a Tales of Xillia 2 y Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. El mayor éxito en la saga, desde la época de Snes.

- Dragon's Dogma tuvo bastante éxito, a pesar de ser una nueva IP. Y supera a juegos de sagas ya asentadas como Kingdom Hearts, Tekken y Resident Evil.

- Bravely Default FF consiguió vender 274K en Japón.

Por lo demás muy interesante para ver dónde se quedaron algunos juegos. El Rune Factory 4 finalmente se convirtió en el más vendido de la saga, y es una barbaridad que el NSMB de DS consiga vender más de 100k en su séptimo año. :o
