Cita:Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos developer Monolith Soft is seeking staff for a 3DS project. The studio has opened a recruitment page seeking staff to work on the project out of its newly formed Kyoto studio.
Positions include effect designers, motion designers and 3DCG designers. The 3DCG designers will work on character modeling and 3D map modeling. The effect designers will work on effects for map and battle scenes. The motion designers will work on motion for things like monsters and characters.
This is the second time in the past year that we're hearing about job solicitation from Monolith Soft. The studio previously posted a listing for a Wii U project. The Wii U project is based out of Monolith's main Tokyo office. You can access the Wii U listing here.
Monolith Soft, a Nintendo subsidiary, is known for such franchises as Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos. Most recently, they developed Xenoblade for Wii and also contributed to Zelda Skyward Sword. Further back, they worked on Disaster Day of Crisis for Nintendo.
The studio also does work for 3rd party publishers. Examples include Dragon Ball Kai and Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, both for Namco Bandai.
Saludos.
