I also bought the complete Harry Potter collection in English two or three years ago. I started reading the first one but I got bored after the first chapter.

Reading in english is difficult for me because I can only read at the museum were I work and I am constantly interrupted by the tourists. It's difficult for me to keep my mind focused in the book when it's in Spanish, so when I try to read in English it's just impossible.

The only thing I've read in English in the last two or three years is a great amount of scientific papers about biology or medicine.

Obviously, when you read you learn to read, not to write, and not to speak. But it helps.

To learn to write you need to write (and I have no problem with this, cause my job means to do everything in english), and to speak... well, I'm a fan of VOS movies... and I speak at my job in english.

But I recognize that my pronounce skills are very bad... but these are bad also in catalonian and spanish. I speak very bad in general

Anyway, when I read books, comics writen by english authors, I search for the original non translated version. It is better.
