Splatoon 2 ofrece una demo especial hasta el 25 de marzo

Los jugadores de Nintendo Switch que aún no tengan una copia de Splatoon 2 tienen desde hoy la oportunidad de probar el juego mediante una demo especial. Dicha demo, disponible hasta el 25 de marzo, se puede descargar sin coste alguno desde la eShop. Jugar al modo online de Splatoon 2 requiere de Nintendo Switch Online, así que en caso de descargar la demo se recibirá un código de descarga para una prueba gratuita de 7 días.

Una vez probada la demo se ofrecerá un descuento del 33 % al adquirir una copia de Splatoon 2 hasta el 31 de marzo. Además, el progreso de la demo se transferirá a la versión completa del juego.

[GDC] Microsoft no tiene planes actualmente para llevar XBO Live SDK a Switch, pero llegarán más juegos tras Cuphead

Microsoft delivered a speech at GDC 2019 today. During the event, future plans for Switch were briefly touched on.

One of the major announcements we heard about today was Cuphead for Switch. Not only is the game coming, but it should be updated to support Xbox Live in the future – including achievements. Apparently this won’t be a one time thing.

Microsoft said that it doesn’t have plans for an Xbox Live SDK for Switch right now. However, the company did show off this rather curious image:



It was also mentioned that we can expect more games like Cuphead to head to Switch with Xbox Live enabled in the future. Microsoft is said to be working with Nintendo to bring achievements to select titles, which makes sense given how Minecraft operates as well as what’s planned for Cuphead.

Cuphead dará soporte a Xbox Live en Nintendo Switch

Ha sido una de las noticias destacadas del día. El genial Cuphead se estrenará en Nintendo Switch, y Microsoft ha confirmado que lo hará dando soporte a Xbox Live. Por ahora se desconoce qué funciones del servicio estarán disponibles en la consola híbrida, pero parece que los de Redmond son ambiciosos en el modo de enfocar este proyecto.

"Nos hemos asociado con Studio MDHR para investigar nuevas formas de crear funciones de Xbox Live más allá del PC y Xbox, hasta Nintendo Switch. ¡Sí, eso significa que podrás jugar a este galardonado título de Studio MDHR en Nintendo Switch con Xbox Live!", ha informado Microsoft en el marco de la GDC 2019.



"Trabajaremos con el equipo para implementar funciones de Xbox Live en Cuphead para Nintendo Switch durante los próximos meses", añaden en su comunicado, sin concretar cuándo estarán disponibles estas opciones. Por ahora el trabajo está en sus primeras etapas, así que los fans de Nintendo tendrán que esperar a unos meses después del estreno del videojuego. "¡Queremos agradecer a Studio MDHR y Nintendo su colaboración en este proyecto!", concluye Microsoft.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution llegará a occidente en verano como exclusivo para Switch



A couple of trademarks already hinted at it, but Konami has now officially confirmed that Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is coming to the West. It will be released as a Switch exclusive title this Summer in Europe and North America. Here’s the official feature list from Konami:

• Build and customize a Deck from more than 9,000 cards, the most in any Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME video game
  
• Challenge other players with local-play or Nintendo Switch Online
  
• The addition of Link Monster cards not only change the way seasoned Duelists play their cards, but where they play them
  
• Take on the roles of the animated series’ villains with Reverse Duels
  
• Compete with Battle Packs for Sealed play and Draft play
  
• Includes all previously released Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist content
  

Konami has not yet announced if the game will receive a physical release in the West. In Japan, it’ll only be available as a digital download.
