Cita:On Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, fans that want to be Pokémon Trainers in real life can participate in a “Trainer Battle” scavenger hunt all around PAX West and nearby Seattle areas. The @NintendoAmerica Twitter account will tweet clues and/or photos of different locations where there will be two Nintendo street team members dressed as Pokémon Trainers, who fans can “battle” to receive a special item by answering a trivia question. The Pikachu and Eevee costume characters will also make a special appearance at the downtown Sheraton Seattle hotel on Saturday, Sept. 1. More details will be revealed soon.

Nintendo’s booth will also be home to a giant mural inspired by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The massive banner will display all the announced fighters in the upcoming Nintendo Switch game and is a great place for fans to snap pictures and share them on social media. Fans who cosplay as a character from the game can even find their matching character and take a photo.

Additionally, a new Nindies Showcase will premiere on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 9 a.m. PT. The video presentation will highlight multiple unannounced indie games coming to Nintendo Switch. Watch the video live by visiting https://live.nintendo.com.

On Aug. 31, Nintendo will host a get-together for fans to meet Kit and Krysta from the “Nintendo Minute” online show and play Super Mario Party. At the event, fans will be some of the first to get hands-on time with the upcoming Nintendo Switch party game (launching on Oct. 5), as well as have an opportunity to be on an upcoming episode of “Nintendo Minute.” Nintendo will select 30 attendees to attend on a first-come, first-served basis. Details about the time and location of the event will be shared in the coming days.

Arena of Valor launches for Switch in September. The Nintendo Switch Online subscription service is also arriving in the same month. Thankfully, the two won’t be connected as Tencent has confirmed you won’t need to be a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber in order to play.

A theory has been going around that free-to-play games on Switch won’t require a Nintendo Switch Online membership. This certainly backs up that speculation.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate permite recuperar la partida de 3DS

Did you play Monster Hunter Generations on 3DS? Do you plan on buying Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on Switch? If so, you might be interested in a new app released on the eShop.

Capcom is allowing 3DS players to transfer save data to Switch with the Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Save Transfer App. You can find it on the 3DS eShop.

The app requires just 231 blocks of space. That amounts to 28.875MB.

Los rumores apuntan a que Dark Souls II podría llegar a Nintendo Switch


Mientras que Dark Souls Remastered llegará a Nintendo Switch en octubre, parece que Bandai Namco tiene previsto traer a la plataforma híbrida la segunda entrega de la aclamada saga de FromSoftware.

La noticia llega de parte de LeakyPandy, quien ya se encargó de adelantar la publicación de Fortnite Battle Royale en Switch. Según sus palabras, Bandai Namco ya está trabajando en la versión de Switch de Dark Souls II con un lanzamiento programado para 2019.

De momento, no hay mención a la versión de Dark Souls III para Switch. Presumiblemente, esto se debe a que la tercera entrega de la saga de rol y acción sea demasiado exigente a nivel técnico para la consola de Nintendo.

Habrá que esperar a que Bandai Namco anuncie oficialmente la llegada de Dark Souls II a Switch antes de dar por sentada esta portabilidad.
