Capcom se vuelve a coronar: Megaman XI llegará sólamente en digital y sin Amiibo en Europa

Capcom had a ton of news to share about Mega Man 11 last week. The company announced an October 2 release date, unveiled a new amiibo, and more.

Mega Man 11 will be offered at retail in North America as well as in Japan. But in Europe, the situation is much different. Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man 11 is only planned as a digital title in PAL regions. As for the amiibo, there is currently “no announcement” for Europe.

Tanto Megaman 11 como los collection se quedan sin edición física aquí por patata. Luego se extrañan de que las cosas no vayan bien.

Capcom distribuye en Europa o es otra.

Creo recordar que usa una distribuidora. Así que, aunque capcom es culpable por matener a esa distribuidora, la verdadera culpable es esta última.

Square Enix dedicará una división interna al desarrollo de juegos en Switch

Square Enix está ultimando el lanzamiento de Octopath Traveler, su esperado videojuego de rol para Nintendo Switch. El proyecto, que podría ser considerado una raya en el agua, será el inicio de una división interna en el seno de la empresa dedicada exclusivamente al desarrollo y producción de títulos para la consola de Nintendo. Lo ha confirmado Tomoya Asano, director y ejecutivo de divisiones en Square Enix.

Asano, encargado de supervisar el trabajo del equipo responsable de Octopath Traveler ha confirmado a Game Informer que no se trata de una decisión de última hora. El grupo, en vista del buen trabajo realizado, se conformó como división propia el pasado abril, dejando clara la estrategia de la empresa a largo plazo en la consola. "Square Enix ha decidido que quiere enfocarse en realizar videojuegos originales para Nintendo Switch", comentaba.

"Si Octopath Traveler vende bien, y es algo que acaba siendo atractivo para los fans, nos centraremos en Nintendo Switch. Mandaremos el mensaje de que debes jugar en Switch si quieres disfrutar de títulos como Octopath Traveler", añadía Tomoya Asano. Muchos de estos proyectos estarían ya en desarrollo, y aunque el éxito del citado juego de rol será un claro aliciente, no se descartan nuevos anuncios o confirmaciones ajenas al rédito comercial del videojuego que saldrá el 13 de julio.

"Si esperáis un poco, trabajaremos con Nintendo y os daremos nuevos anuncios en el futuro", concluía. Es muy probable, dadas estas declaraciones, que algunos de estos juegos para Switch se confirmen en el E3.

Konami lista para el E3 2 juegos no anunciados de Switch

Konami‘s support for the Nintendo Switch is far from over. According to the company’s official E3 2018 exhibitor section, there are 2 untitled Nintendo Switch games that will be at the expo. One is an Action/Adventure title, and the other is a compilation. There is nothing else on the site mentioned. We will just have to wait for E3 to find out what the games are.
