Disponible la demo de Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology

Deep Silver ha informado que la demo de Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology para Nintendo 3DS ya se encuentra disponible en la eShop. Esta versión de prueba permite a los jugadores familiarizarse con la historia y las mecánicas del juego, avance que se podrá transferir en caso de comprar el título cuando esté disponible el 16 de febrero.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology es una versión ampliada del título aparecido en Nintendo DS en 2011. Además de expandir la historia con nuevo contenido, incluye nuevas mecánicas, nuevos modos, personajes totalmente rediseñados, nuevas voces, música original del compositor Yoko Shiomura y ajustes adicionales de dificultad.

El futuro de Nintendo 3DS es 'un territorio desconocido' para Nintendo

Nintendo en los últimos años, ha conseguido mantener toda una línea de portátiles como Nintendo 3DS viva y con presencia en varios mercados gracias a una serie de maniobras comerciales muy inteligentes tanto en software como en hardware. Con la llegada de Nintendo Switch, muchos usuarios se preguntaron qué pasaría con ella, y aunque la empresa ha confirmado que seguirán dando soporte, hoy el presidente de la firma japonesa admite que el futuro de Nintendo 3DS es un "territorio desconocido" tras ocho años en el mercado.

Un escenario desconocido para la portátil

Sí, Nintendo 3DS seguirá siendo muy importante para Nintendo, aún con Switch en el mercado. La base de usuarios es muy grande, y dado que tiene un catálogo de juegos enorme y en aumento, no se abandonará de la noche a la mañana. La firma japonesa lo tiene claro, pero al mismo tiempo, es consciente de que se trata de un escenario único.

Nintendo considera varios escenarios con Nintendo 3DS

Tatsumi Kimishima, presidente de Nintendo, así lo cree. "Seguiremos vendiéndola, y esperamos que los consumidores la acepten y la sigan usando junto a Nintendo Switch, pero qué deparará el futuro a Nintendo 3DS... Es para nosotros un terriotorio desconocido", confirmaba. "Todavía no hemos pensado qué dirección tomar en el futuro, pero tenemos un buen número de opciones y posibilidades bajo consideración", añadía Ko Shiota, también de Nintendo.

SteamWorld Dig 2 llega a la eshop el 22 de Febrero


The Switch eShop version of SteamWorld Dig 2 has already tunnelled its way into our hearts - in fact, we loved it so much we gave it a 9/10 - but what about those players who played the equally great first game on Nintendo 3DS? Well, wonder no more fellow handheld friends because developer Image & Form has revealed the stellar sequel is headed to the 3DS eShop later this month.

It'll be priced at $19.99 / €19.99 in North America and Europe and, if some of the official screenshots are anything to by, it's going to look just as gorgeous as the Nintendo Switch version. We'll be reviewing this incarnation as well, so look out for our review around its launch on 22nd February, 2018.

Nintendo 3DS ha tenido el mejor enero en ventas desde el de 2013 en USA

The Nintendo 3DS handheld console just had its best January since 2013 in terms of consoles sold, according to the NPD Group. For hardware dollar sales, it was the portable’s best January since 2014.

This success comes at an odd time. Nintendo’s support for the 3DS — which debuted in 2011 — is slowing down as it focuses on the home console/portable hybrid Switch, which has been a big success for Nintendo since launching in March 2017. The 3DS didn’t see any major new software releases in January, and none of its games made the NPD’s top 20 list for the month.

But the 3DS is home to a lot of games with long sales legs. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon took the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on NPD’s list of the 10 best-selling 3DS games for the month. Those games came out in November, and Pokémon titles have often been on top of the 3DS sales charts. Mario Kart 7, which came out all the way back in 2011, was at No. 3. Other companies, like Atlus, have continued to support the system.

Nintendo has shied away from saying that the Switch is a successor to the 3DS despite its portability, and it’s clear why. The 3DS might be old, but the system still has some sales life left in it.

The U.S. is getting at least one big 3DS game soon, Detective Pikachu, which comes out on March 23.

La demo de The Alliance Alive estará en la eshop el 1 de Marzo

North American Nintendo 3DS owners will be pleased to hear that The Alliance Alive demo is now available on the eShop. Those of you in Europe won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on the demo as it launches March 1st. The Alliance Alive launches in North America and Europe on March 27th. Here’s some information on the 3DS demo:

“In the demo, you’ll be able to experience the very first steps of Galil and Azura’s adventure as they set out from The Rain Realm in search of a blue sky and get a taste of The Alliance Alive’s unique turn-based battle system. Additionally, if you complete the demo, you’ll earn a bonus of up to 4,000 Talent Points to help build up your characters’ abilities quickly once you start your adventure in the full game!

Atlus have announced a Shin Megami Tensei IV & FINAL Double Hero Pack for release on Japanese 3DS on 19 April 2018 containing both Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL (Apocalypse) priced at ¥5,378.
