Switch, con un 23,8% de las ventas, supera a XOne durante el mes de Mayo en UK
The Nintendo Switch continues to perform extremely well worldwide but one place where Nintendo has occasionally struggled in the past is the United Kingdom. The PlayStation 4 is the dominant console so far in this generation, but the Nintendo Switch is quickly catching up with consumers. The Nintendo’s latest system had a 23.8% market share in May. The Xbox One had a market share of 21.3%.
“Between Donkey Kong, Hyrule Warriors and usual top sellers like Mario Kart, Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, the market share for the Switch increased month-on-month, reaching 18.1 per cent in units, against 12.5 per cent in April. In terms of value, the Switch was 23.8 per cent of the market in May (against 14.8 per cent in April) overtaking the Xbox One and its 21.3 per cent.”
