Switch is at 1.5 million, and a leak from earlier this month told us PS4 did 72% of Switch and XB1 did 91%. So,

PS4 = 1080k
XB1 = 1365k

I should add that this leak predicted 3DS at 50% of Switch, and that turned out to be true (Switch at 1.5M, 3DS at 750k). So, it's most likely legit.

Dug up old data and updated some spreadsheets.

2017 was a great year overall, with this being the best year since 2011 at Retail*.

*Includes reported digital game sales since NPD started tracking them.

Not only was this a great year at retail, but also the best year ever reported (?) with total consumer spending reaching 36 billion. This includes retail, digital, online services, etc. The industry is very healthy, and should be very happy.

Something interesting to see, when updating my software and hardware revenue numbers, 2014 seemed very odd with it's ratio. It is a generational transition year so maybe that is the reason or maybe software just wasn't as compelling?

As for monthly revenue, December was larger than November, and the trends are staying consistent.

Should be interesting to see just how much the Switch and lower price ranges on consoles affect total revenue in 2018.
