Nintendo pide disculpas a todas aquellas personas que esperaban que el juego tuviese relaciones del mismo sexo. Desafortunadamente no puede cambiar el diseño del juego, no pueden hacerlo ahora, ni podrán hacerlo después con un parche. Nintendo se compromete a, en caso de que hubiese una secuela del juego, incluir esto desde el día uno.
