Capcom has yet to fully jump on with Switch. Ultra Street Fighter II is slated for May, but no other games have been announced by the publisher so far. Perhaps that will be changing soon.

In its latest financial report, Capcom highlights multiplatform develop. Switch is specifically called out as a platform the company is pursuing.

Capcom has said that it is looking to bring the RE Engine to Switch. When done, it may be easier to release titles on Nintendo’s console.

Emily Rogers, famed for her Nintendo information leaks, has given some new insight into an unannounced game that supposedly features Nintendo’s mascot Mario and Ubisoft’s Rabbids. She had the following to say:

“Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle” has eight playable characters — including Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi — and they each have their own sci-fi weapons, laser guns, arm cannons, etc. But you don’t control the characters — you control Tuttorio, a small floating dish, to guide them through the worlds. There is also co-op multiplayer.

It’ll be interesting to see if this game comes to fruition and remember that E3 is just around the corner so we may see it then.

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is in development for Switch. That’s according to Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch, who revealed this information to Nintendo Everything in a recent interview.

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn was originally funded on Indiegogo in 2014. At the time, it seemed like a Wii U version had been secured. We’re unsure if Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is still planned for Wii U, but now that Switch has arrived, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear about its cancellation.

We haven’t seen a whole lot of the new Shaq Fu game as of late. A new trailer debuted at The Game Awards 2015, though there hasn’t been much news since. However, what we’ve heard from Karch indicates that the project is still very much in the works.

We should note that Saber Interactive has other Switch titles on the way. First up is NBA Playgrounds, which lands on May 9. Karch also told us that Switch will be receiving “a new motocross title”. Finally, Saber Interactive is planning a new four-player co-op shooter (not the upcoming Quake) “that is a candidate” for Switch as it would be “perfect for the platform.”

We’ll have more from Karch and Saber Interactive when our full interview goes live in the near future.

Koei Tecmo has been one of the strongest third-party supporters of Switch thus far. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence are already available – at least in Japan. Nights of Azure 2 and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi were also recently announced. Of course, we also can’t forget that Fire Emblem Warriors (in partnership with Nintendo) is on the way. You can also sort of count Dragon Quest Heroes I-II, as it was made by Omega Force, a division within Koei Tecmo.

Koei Tecmo has even more plans for Switch in the future. At a financial results briefing this week, chairman Keiko Erikawa noted that the company’s multiplatform engine has Switch embedded, meaning it can generate PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch titles automatically from a single source. Erikawa also spoke positively about Switch’s “anytime anywhere” concept and believes it will be successful, so they’ll to continue support it.

Koei Tecmo is already working on Switch exclusive title(s) other than Fire Emblem Warriors. Also, they’ll deliver Switch games one after another.
