SEGA Ages, un recopilatorio de juegos clásicos de SEGA, llegará en verano a Nintendo Switch

La conferencia que ha realizado SEGA en el SEGA Fes ha sido breve pero muy intensa. El bombazo de la noche ha sido la presentación de la Mega Drive Mini, seguida por 'Shenmue 1+2' para PS4, Xbox One y PC, pero para los usuarios de Nintendo Switch también ha habido sorpresas.

SEGA ha anunciado que M2 se ocupará del desarrollo de 'SEGA Ages' para la consola de Nintendo, el cual se tratará de un recopilatorio de sus mejores juegos clásicos. En total incluirá 15 títulos diferentes.

A falta de conocer la lista completa que formarán parte de este pack, los primeros juegos que se han confirmado que incluirá son 'Sonic the Hedgehog', 'Thunder Force IV' y 'Phantasy Star', dejándonos con la duda de cuáles serán el resto. Su lanzamiento se espera para este verano y únicamente estará disponible en digital a través de la eShop.

Valkyria Chronicles 1 anunciado para Switch


The first Valkyria Chronicles is heading to Switch, SEGA announced at SEGA Fes 2018 today. In Japan, it will be released as “Valkyria Chronicles for Nintendo Switch” this fall via the eShop.

The first Valkyria Chronicles on Switch will include previously-released DLC. Also, those who purchase Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be able to pick up the newly-announced first title for 500 yen.

Speaking of Valkyria Chronicles 4, the title will now arrive this fall in Japan as opposed to summer. The change will not have an impact on the western launch as it was already scheduled for fall in North America and Europe.

Genial noticia. 

Me está gustando mucho en PC pero me mató el tempo. Como digo siempre, o juego en portátil a determinados juegos o no puedo con ellos.

El problema es que ya lo tengo en PC y me costó dos duros así que hasta que no esté a abajo precio no lo compraré por mucho que me apetezca (que es exactamente lo mismo que me pasa con Furi)

SEGA Ages podría ampliarse con juegos de Saturn y Dreamcast en el futuro

SEGA Ages kicked off the weekend with a new announcement for Switch owners. Starting this summer, SEGA and M2 will be publishing classic games on the eShop. Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star, Thunder Force IV, Alex Kidd, and Gain Ground are among the confirmed titles. During a stage show at SEGA Fes, more details about the download initiative were shared.

Once the last wave of 3D Classics on 3DS wrapped up, it was decided that it would be a waste to just leave it there. That’s what initially led to SEGA and M2 once again partnering on classic games for Switch.

Alex Kidd is included in the lineup due to the game’s popularity on the Virtual Console in Europe. Future releases could be decided by using similar data.

You might have noticed that Gain Ground is an arcade game. This won’t be the only arcade title in SEGA Ages.

Once again, the initial plan is to produce roughly 15 titles under the SEGA Ages line. However, the lineup could be expanded with even more games. One very important point mentioned is that Saturn and Dreamcast titles could be represented in the future if it goes well beyond the first 15 games.

Finally, one last tidbit: Rieko Kodama is acting as producer on the SEGA Ages project. Kodama has worked at SEGA since 1984 and has acted as an artist, director, and producer.

¡Hola! Estamos centrándonos en pulir el juego base y optimizarlo de modo que luzca lo mejor posible y el rendimiento esté a la altura de DOOM. Así que por el momento no tenemos noticias sobre los DLCs.

Como me gustaría ver juegos de Saturn en Switch...
Mega Drive me encanta pero llevan años editando las mismas romas una y otra vez. 
Saturn , Dreamcast y hasta Master System/Game Gear merecen también una oportunidad.
