Today, G2A has released a statement through Facebook to clarify its position.

ÔÇ£As some of you may already know, steps have been taken to remove games purchased indirectly from a publisher, via main marketplaces in the web. G2A.COM is not in any case responsible for any of these procedures. However, we are well aware of this process and will do everything possible to compensate for that.

ÔÇ£For users who have made transactions without G2A Shield, we will check if the corresponding merchant was responsible for the withdrawal of the code. If so, these users will get a compensation. Any user who used G2A Shield affected by the current process will get either a new code for the game or the money back.

ÔÇ£G2A.COM will make every possible exertion to prevent this kind of procedures in the future and exclude merchants responsible for such incidents from the marketplace.ÔÇØ

G2A Shield is an optional service the site provides whereby you pay an extra fee to guarantee receiving a valid cd key, should you choose to buy it from a marketplace reseller. ItÔÇÖs interesting that the statement seems to only deal with keys bought through this method and not through the siteÔÇÖs main stock.

Así a ojo, la pagina de simplycdkey parece mucho mas licita que Gamersgate. Ya sea en apariencia o que vende además juegos físicos.

Está un pelín obsoleta. Gamefly ha cambiado a Direct2Drive, faltan tiendas locales como Nuuvem o DL Gamer, tiendas especializadas por géneros, tiendas de indies.

Gamersgate tiene más que buena reputación. Es una de las tiendas clásicas, junto a Direct2Drive, y en menor medida Metaboli, Stardock. Ambas vendían juegos digitalmente, cuando Steam no existía como tienda, o cuando Steam empezó. Steam sobrepasó a todas, las cuales tuvieron diferente suerte: Garmesgate sigue vendiendo mucha mierda xd pero también juegos de Steam, la tienda de Stardock fue vendida a GameStop la cual fue... ni idea como está ahora el asunto, Direct2Drive fue vendida a IGN luego a Gamefly ahora vuelve a ser Direct2Drive; Metaboli creo que aun sigue, fue también una de las pioneras en el alquiler de juegos online.

Gracias por el listado, aunque sigo pensando que un mensaje en un hilo del foro de steam no es algo como para que si no compro en esas tenga que estar investigando.

Esta claro que hay paginas y páginas, pero me extraña por ejemplo que simplycdkeys haga algo ilegal. Lo que pasa es que sacará sus juegos de la versión física y se ahorrará enviarlo o cosas así.

Yo si diferencio a la hora de comprar en uno u otro sitio y no voy siempre al mas barato, pero vamos si veo que un juego sale mal optimizado o no ha cumplido expectativas no tengo problemas en comprarlo en buyplay por ejemplo.

No me han quitado el juego, pero vamos, que yo seguiré comprando en G2A, donde también hay claves legales. Si quieren luchar contra las claves fraudulentas, que lo hagan como es debido.

Yo compro en G2A, Nuuvem, Gamersgate, GreenManGaming y Steam indistintamente.

G2A es legal si compras los juegos avalados por paypal.

Eso les dignifica. A partir de ahora compraré con escudo por si las moscas.
