Interés over 9000.

Tengo pendiente Deadly Premonition, pero me da miedo ponerme con él y sufrir todos esos bugs y problemas técnicos de los que tanto se ha hablado. Me cuesta mucho meterme en un juego que no funcione fluido.

”The Good Life” is a Debt Repayment Life Simulation RPG by SWERY the creator of “Deadly Premonition”.

Play as Naomi, a photographer from New York who finds herself stuck in Rainy Woods, a backwoods town in rural England... For it's the only way for her to pay off the massive debt she's accumulated.

The place she's going is...

"5 and a half hours from London... By BUS?!"

"No internet? No cell service? No Starbucks? No clubbing?!"

"No New York style pizza! No burritos!"

 "They let sheep graze anywhere?"

"And yet they have not one pub, but FIVE??"

 "What were they thinking?! "

At first glance, it looks like a perfectly normal country town...

But within this town lurks a bizarre secret.

As an étrangère, players feel both alienated yet strangely comfortable. An RPG-style town filled with fun activities and fascinating people... Our twisting, mysterious story will have you captivated... Make friends, solve mysteries, and become emotionally invested!

We're sure you'll never be able to forget this town, even though it's in the middle of nowhere!

Naomi is a photographer from New York. After a scandal left her in debt, she took on a job that sent her to 'the happiest town in the world,' a rural English town out in the middle of nowhere.

Photographing evidence of the town's many secrets and sending them back to her client daily will earn her some very nice rewards...

But most of Naomi's comments start with the words "I hate," and she can't stop complaining... Will this city slicker be able to survive out in the British backwoods?

Journey to Rainy Woods... a small town in Northern England surrounded by forests. Nestled in abundant nature, stone houses built in the Middle Ages still stand beside one another. The townspeople look out for each other, love their families, work hard, and enjoy nightly drinks at the local pubs.

At first glance, it looks like just another normal country town, but the townspeople all say the same thing...

"This is the happiest town in the world."

"We're the happiest people on the planet."

They don't talk about why they are so happy, or how they know that they're the happiest in the world, but they seem to really believe what they say.

The happiest town in the world is home to the most bizarre villagers in the world.

All townspeople operate on a 24 hour schedule. Everyone lives a different life.

Each character has a unique personality and lives out a unique life. Even though they live in a game world, they worry, suffer, have fun, love, and hate as much as any real person.

As you make a life for yourself in the happiest and most bizarre town in the world, you'll send out reports on these villagers and the town they live in.

Events change depending on the time of day, weather and season.

Rainy Woods has a big secret... At night, all the villagers turn into cats.

Why do they turn into cats? Not even they know the reason... For when morning comes, they lose all memories of their feline adventures. What in the world could be causing all of this?

Are these cat transformations connected to the reason why Rainy Woods is known as the happiest town in the world?

Questions are only met with more questions...

Villagers aren't the only ones who get to turn into cats. Naomi also gets to turn into a cat at night, of course!

When you (Naomi) become a cat, you'll be able to freely run around town, hunt for mice, bugs, and fish, and find important items connected to story events.

Certain secret paths, rooftops, and attics can only be accessed by cats, so you can explore a whole different Rainy Woods at night.

Use the money you earn to customize Naomi, and find the look that fits you best. Some clothes may even boost Naomi's parameters!

Player Growth Elements

Player self-growth (eternal)

Stamina amountVirus immunity (Makes it harder to get sick)Alcohol dependency (Negative growth) ... etc

Temporary boosts from clothing, etc.

Hats (Slows down thirst)Hair Style (Appearance)Sunglasses (Slows down thirst)Pants (Boosts walking speed)Shoes (Boosts walking speed) ... etc

The player's daily range of activity will expand based on their stamina and movement speed. With more points, they'll be able to take more photos and do more things.

You can also customize Naomi when she's a cat!

Of course! This is what you were all waiting for, right?

...Oh, and there's also a...

The Good Life isn't just a game where you endlessly pay off a debt. It's also a high quality mystery tale -- SWERY and White Owls' latest masterpiece.

In Rainy Woods, the happiest town in the world, Naomi photographs different things and uncovers the town's secrets. Then, she discovers something in a river... the brutally murdered body of a young girl.

Pierced in the heart by an ancient, medieval sword, grasping nothing but a flower in her hands... When Naomi found her, the girl looked as tragic as the Ophelia from John Everett Millais' painting.

Her name is Elizabeth, the lone daughter of the village pastor. Bound to a wheelchair, she gave Naomi a message the first time they met: "We need to accept everything that comes to us. That's the key to achieving happiness."

When she heard that, Naomi thought: "You expect me to just sit here and accept everything, without taking any action on my own? Yeah right!"

Murder in the happiest town in the world... What sort of fate will it lead Naomi to?

Naomi originally came to Rainy Woods in order to uncover the secrets of the happiest town in the world and use her reports to pay off her debt. But when she discovers the body of the wheelchair-ridden Elizabeth, it sets her journalist heart ablaze. And so, while she continues to pay off her debt, she also decides to find out the truth about Elizabeth's death.

As Naomi pays off her debt, she won't only be left with more money to spend -- the villagers will also treat her differently. Therefore, taking a ton of pictures and working hard to pay off the debt will always be the quickest way to solve the case.

...Enjoy Your Good Life!

Naomi is a professional photographer. While in Rainy Woods, the player will focus on investigating and paying off their debt. Take photos of various things and chronicle people’s comments in your notebook!

Once the player sends their daily report back to New York, their day will be finished and they can look forward to receiving payment for their work the next morning.

The player’s earnings will be based on the quality and rarity of photos they take—be careful not to take too many photos of the same thing!

Grab your camera and document the happiest town in the world!

Camera Stance : When the stance button (L Trigger) is held, the player moves into the camera stance. During this period, they can't move. The camera's viewfinder range will appear in front of the player in a cone shape. Subjects within range will be highlighted. We'll add a support function in the beginning of the game. When the stance button is pushed, the player will automatically change stance and look towards nearby subjects.Aim for a subject : The player can change their hip angle (upwards/downwards) with the left stick. The player can mildly adjust the camera angle to the left/right (the viewfinder range) with the right stick. In these cases, the player's hands will shake. The type of lens that's equipped will change the viewfinder's range and where it appears.Bring the subject into focus : Lightly press the shutter (R Trigger or something) to adjust the focus. When the subject is in focus, there will be a beeping sound effect. There will be camera equipment that boosts the focus speed. It can also be customized with extras such as AF.Operate the shutter : Press down on the shutter (R Trigger or something) until it snaps the picture.

Results : You won't know the results until you develop the photos at your house. Developed photos are separated into successes and failures, and only successes are sent out for rewards.

You can photograph many different things:

One-time-only/rare subjects - Seasonal or special event-related.Subjects that can be shot over and over, and are always the same - Daily life things.Subjects that give better results the more they're photographed - For example, dogs need to be photographed every day for them to give a reaction. Making friends with these subjects will make them show their true faces.Subjects whose states change over time, making players want to shoot them over and over again - Trees and greenery grow and decay.Subjects whose states change due to game progression, making players want to shoot them over and over again - Depending on your relationships with the townspeople, the types of pictures you can take will change.Subjects that need to be photographed every day - Orders from clients. For example, photograph the evening sun from a certain hill every day.Subjects where photographing them every day is beneficial to the player - Photographing this subject every day will gradually improve your reward; if you miss a day, it resets.

There will be photo-OK timings and locations set for subjects, so the player won't be able to do everything in a single day. Players will have to make decisions and choose one subject over another one that appears at the same time.

And that's not all! Unidentified mystery animals (UMA) will also prowl around ruins, some flowers will only bloom once every few years, clouds of cicada wll appear in summer, and the mountains' foliage may all turn crimson in certain years.

Customize your camera and take better pictures!

Camera Ability (Photo Precision) - This will improve the precision of the camera and cut down on failures.

Blur reducer (Makes it harder for pictures to shake and blur)Supersensitive lens (Can take good pictures even when it's dark)Rapid-fire shutter (Allows good pictures to be taken of moving things, automatically takes them)High-speed shutter (Screen slows down to allow pictures to be taken of fast things)Flash (Allows good pictures to be taken even when it's dark)AF Speed (Cuts down on time needed for focus)Follow-up AF (A subject who you focused on once will never get out of focus)

Lens Ability (Photo Range) - Changes the photo range when in the camera stance.

Normal LensTelescope Lens Lv1-3 (When the player wants to take pictures of faraway things or creatures that run when people get close)Wide-Angle Lens (When the player wants to take a picture of multiple things at once)

Special Camera - We want to improve photo efficiency and automation in the latter half of the game.

Stationary motion shutter cameras (Can purchase multiple ones and place them wherever)Drones

Do part-time jobs and pay off your debt faster!

Naomi can do part-time jobs in town, such as bartending at a pub, delivering milk, shearing sheep, and other marvelously rural tasks in order to pay off her debt. Find the part-time job you like best and work your butt off!

Some part-time jobs will offer you chances to make a fortune in a single stroke... But they can also be exhausting and dangerous. There's no point in making a killing if it kills you in the end! Take care of yourself and enjoy your daily life!

You can use the money you earn to pay off your debt, or you can also use it on yourself!♪ Try different part-time jobs, and buy yourself some nice clothes!

Special events can help you earn special rewards!

Rainy Woods has four seasons, each with their own special events. Spring heralds the cherry blossom dance festival, while summer is tea harvest season. In autumn, you can harvest nuts and catch fat river fish.

In winter, you can find rare minerals at the local mine and maybe earn a present from an old man riding a sled pulled by reindeer?!

High risk, high return!

Be careful not to work too hard! Naomi loses stamina every time she does something. In order to refill her stamina, she needs to eat. If she keeps working on an empty stomach, she’ll eventually collapse and wake up in the hospital. Naomi doesn’t have British health insurance, so she'll be forced to pay cash everytime she's hospitalized. Be careful!

Naomi may be young, but she still needs ample sleep. If she keeps working without sleep, her movements will get slower, bags will form under her eyes, and she will suffer from chronic sleep deprivation.

Search through Rainy Woods and collect trash ...er, treasure, which you can give to the cat villagers as presents. Approaching your favorite villager as a cat may be the best way to get closer to them. Cats love night time, after all!

(⋈◍>◡<◍)。✧♡

When you give gifts to villagers, their daytime selves will also change...

Beautiful trash ...err, treasure.

Certain things you find as a cat may fetch a high price during the day... or they might even unlock special story events.

You don't just earn money, you spend it, too! Focus on balancing your income with your expenditures and pay off your debt efficiently!

Swery admite que la financiación de The Good Life no marcha bien
