We were all a little shocked and surprised to see that Cloud from the Final Fantasy series is a newcomer in Super Smash Bros. ThereÔÇÖs been a ton of amusing reaction videos posted onto YouTube, but what did the Japanese think to CloudÔÇÖs inclusion┬áto the diverse roster? Well, the Legends of Localisation browsed Twitter and 2Chan to find out what a small sample of Japanese consumers thought!

• Cloud doesnÔÇÖt match Nintendo, shoulda gone with Bartz, though I doubt heÔÇÖd be popular

El que dice Bartz, aunque se da cuenta, realmente no lo conoce ni Dios en occidente, y en Japón no será el más popular, entonces ponen a Cloud.
En mi caso si ponen a Squall o Zell mucho mejor, dónde va a parar.

No es porque no me guste el personaje, es que el V no se porque es un juego que no tiene apenas interés general. Cualquiera te dira del IV, VI y sobretodo desde el VII en adelante, pero el V es... pobrecito X-D

El FFV es el gran desconocido de FF, sí. Luego estaría FF2.

Por lo demás, opiniones diversas y bromas. No sé que quieren que saque en claro xD

Dentro de los protagonistas callados y taciturnos, que son una de las fórmulas que más odio, Cloud se salva a mis ojos por recibir cierto desarrollo en el juego e ir abriéndose visiblemente a medida que el juego avanzaba hasta que al final del juego llegaba incluso a ser bastante abierto. Que luego se cargasen todo su desarrollo en el Advent Children es otro tema... Pero definitivamente lo prefiero frente a Lightning o Squall.

Obviamente hubiese preferido miles de otros personajes de la saga antes que él, incluyendo otros personajes de FF7, pero claro...
