One knock that Nintendo seems to get is the ÔÇ£old guardÔÇØ mentality the company sometimes exhibits, with not enough focus on young fresh faces. In the latest investors meeting, President Kimishima spoke briefly about younger people being more active in the company:

Cita:Regarding NintendoÔÇÖs corporate governance system, we are currently carrying out reviews in terms of both the corporate governance system that is required externally and the business framework needed to deploy our business in the future. In addition to complying with demands from outside Nintendo, we are continuously discussing how we can have young, talented people play active roles in our organization, and also our internal execution system in terms of speeding up the process of decision-making and business execution. We are planning to announce what course of action we will be taking in the Corporate Governance Report before the end of this year.
