Hollow Knight podría contar con versión física en Switch

As things stand as of now, Hollow Knight is an eShop-only title. However, that could change in the future.

Developer Team Cherry wrote the following in a Kickstarter update about a potential physical version on Switch:

“Team Cherry is often asked whether a physical version of Hollow Knight is coming for Nintendo Switch. In fact, the question keeps filling up our inboxes! While we’re not able to announce anything, we can say we’ve been looking into it making this happen, and things are looking promising!”

Hollow Knight was said to be “feature complete” on Switch last month. Perhaps it won’t be too long until we receive a final release date.

Anunciados 3 nuevos juegos para Switch por parte de Playdius:

BAFL: Brakes Are For Losers is a “top-down, single-screen racing game created as a tribute to good old games such as Super Sprint, Indy Heat or Super Off Road”. The game is developed by Oudidon and will release on the Nintendo Switch in Q3 of 2017. Here’s a trailer, if you want to see the game in action.

Old School Musical is a “retro rhythm game” with a soundtrack provided by “world-famous Chiptune artists”. News on the identity of the artists will be “announced soon”. La Moutarde is the developer of the game. Old School Musical releases on the Nintendo Switch in Q4 of 2017. Here’s another trailer, if you want to see what the game looks like.

Splasher is a 2D Platformer, although the genre listed by Playdius in their press release is “Splatformer”. Splashteam develops the game, which will be arriving to Nintendo Switch in Q3 of 2017. Once again, we’ve included a trailer for the game below if you want to see what the game looks like.

Cave Story+ parece que llegará a la eshop de Switch la semana que viene

Nintendo has reason to believe that Cave Story+ will be available in Europe next week. The eShop is currently listing the game for a July 20 release.

It goes without saying, but this news should be taken with a grain of salt. eShop listings haven’t always been correct, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the European date for Cave Story+ ends up being inaccurate. Either that, or the digital version of Cave Story+ will be heading to Europe well before the physical release.
