Japanese developer CyberConnect2, who have produced some titles for Nintendo platforms, have announced today that theyÔÇÖre opening a brand new development studio in Montreal, Canada. The team told Famitsu that they believe they can reach a wider audience by expanding globally which is what theyÔÇÖre intending to do.

ÔÇ£ItÔÇÖs a fully developed studio. To reach an even broader audience as we expand globally, I thought, ÔÇÿMaybe we need a blue-eyed samurai?ÔÇÖ

ÔÇ£I think there are still foreigners that want to try the Japanese-style creative.

ÔÇ£ItÔÇÖs not like weÔÇÖre going off in some totally independent direction. WeÔÇÖll be making games that have this link with Japan.ÔÇØ
