It looks like the demand for a Minecraft┬áamiibo┬áis pretty high. WithMojangÔÇÿs sandbox game on its way to Wii U, Microsoft community manager Helen Zbihlyj is saying that a number of fans want to get their hands on an amiibo-enabled figurine based on Minecraft. In a response to a question asking whether Minecraft characters Alex and Steve would ever join Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart 8, Zbihlyj said that itÔÇÖs up to Nintendo to reach out to Microsoft to discuss the possibility.

ÔÇ£We do know that thereÔÇÖs a lot of demand for a Minecraft Amiibo- no idea if weÔÇÖll get one,ÔÇØ Zbihlyj said. ÔÇ£As for Alex and Steve making an appearance in other games, the studios that develop those games would need to reach out to us directly about it.ÔÇØ
