Miitomo launched in Japan on Wednesday and so far at least itÔÇÖs been a success. The smartphone messaging and social application made its debut at number two on the Japanese App Store beaten only by┬áPuzzle & Dragons Radar.

Nintendo Europe has reassured Nintendo fans that the application is still on track to be released here in the west towards the end of the month.
