As you probably already know cartridges were rumoured to be the media that the platform will use and judging from┬áGameStop CEO Paul Raines he isnÔÇÖt entirely sure whether itÔÇÖs going to be disc based or cartridge based. Guess we shall have to wait and see.

Yo llevo diciendo eso desde hace tiempo como una probabilidad muy alta. Si quieren hacer un hardware del que no se quejen las compañias externas, sea mas o menos potente, era algo que debian de cambiar. No podian seguir con la misma arquitectura una generacion mas.

Vamos eso es lo lógico. Ya sabemos como es nintendo. Para bien y para mal.

Bueno, cuando dicen cartuchos supongo que quieren decir "tarjetas", que ya las hay de 32Gb con una tasa de transferencia igual o mejor que la de una unidad óptica a "dos duros".┬á

Sobre que cambien la arquitectura... a ver, que la WiiU ya se emula por software en Pcs, podrían mantener retrocompatibilidad por software... el problema es el pad y el tener unidad óptica o no, pero ya nos la colarán por la eShop con el mismo juego a precio de oro.

Y ya que cambian... que usen arquitectura x86 como las otras dos y que podamos tener ports tan baratos que aunque vendan 4 copias les valga la pena. Va a ser una consola para "media generación" -o menos- pero bueno.
