Cita:Revolution Software applied for partial funding of Broken Sword: The Last Horde by the MEDIA programme of the European Union in late 2010.

Game budget: 312.214,00 €
Requested amount of EU funding: 150.000,00 €

"A well established company with a good track record. The project, however, lacks both innovation and originality. Gender and cultural stereotypes are not well addressed within the submission. There seems to be little real intent in ensuring that the complementary audiovisual work will be realised."

Games that received funding are Max & the Magic Marker, The Witcher 2, PG2 (by Limbo developer Playdead), and Microsoft's canned 360 title The Little Prince.

Nonetheless, the game seems to be announced next month, but with funding from other sources.
El parlamento europeo consideró que al proyecto le faltaba innovación y originalidad y que tenía estereotipos culturales y de género.

Dieron dinero a Max & the Magic Maker, The Withcer 2, PG2 y The Little Prince. Aunque Broken Sword 5 parece que se anunciará el mes que viene con otras fuentes.

Parlamento Europeo.
