Cita:Square Enix will release a Dragon Quest Monsters app that lets players transfer data including monsters from Dragon Quest Monsters: TerryÔÇÖs Wonderland 3D into Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and LucaÔÇÖs Marvelous Mysterious Key.

Just like TerryÔÇÖs Wonderland 3D and Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies before it, Dragon Quest Monsters 2 has a Wi-Fi shop updated with different items each day.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2 also has Wi-Fi enabled battle modes. You can send your monsters out to fight other players by picking away battles or take on other playerÔÇÖs parties at home. In away mode you upload your monster party data to a server and other players to download, but donÔÇÖt actually control your team. Home mode downloads other peopleÔÇÖs away data and lets you fight three parties like regular battles. Win and points are added to your Wi-Fi ranking. Points from away battles are added to your score the next day. Square Enix lets players change rules like allowing monsters to fight with equipment and other options which should add more variety to battles.

You can also trade items or fight friends directly using local wireless play. The game supports up to eight players in tournament mode.

También se permitirá subir al servidor nuestro equipo para que otros jugadores puedan descargarselo y enfrentarse a ellos, siendo manejado por una IA, lo cual nos reportará puntos para un ranking Online y logran la victoria.

El juego también tendrá descargas wi-fi semanales similares a las de Dragon Quest IX, aunque no especificia de qué tipo.
