Cinematic, Emotionally-Charged Game Scheduled For Release in Early 2013

A man, clinging to life. His two sons, desperate to cure their ailing father, are left with but one option. They must set out upon a journey to find and bring back the "Water of Life" as they come to rely on one another to survive. One must be strong where the other is weak, brave where the other is fearful, they must be... Brothers.

505 Games in partnership with Starbreeze Studios and filmmaker Josef Fares will release Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons - previously known as P13 - for Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and for Steam in spring 2013.

Starbreeze Studios, los responsables de The Darkness o el último Syndicate, han anunciado Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, un nuevo juego para Steam, XBLA y PSN que desarrollan junto a la distribuidora 505 Games.

Anteriormente conocido con el nombre en clave de P13, este nuevo juego nos pondrá en la piel de dos niños con la misión de salir en busca de la legendaria Agua de la Vida con la que podrán curar a su padre enfermo.

El juego cuenta con la participación del cineasta sueco Josef Fares, que ha ganado numerosos premios por películas como Zozo y Kopps.

"Hemos querido combinar la profundidad y la emoción de la trama de una película con la experiencia física de un videojuego, permitiendo a los jugadores conectar emocionalmente con los personajes", ha declarado el cineasta.

Me gusta mucho gráficamente y la premisa está curiosa.

Lo malo es Starbreeze Studios, esta generación no han hecho nada que le llegue ni a la sombra al Riddick. Es más, del The Darkness diría de todo menos que es bueno.
