Cita:Capcom is unlikely to revive its Dino Crisis & Onimusha franchises, telling VideoGamer.com that it believes it is "more important to focus on creating new IP" than look back at its classics.
Talking to VideoGamer.com yesterday about the prospect of returning to the two classic series, Resident Evil Revelations producer Masachika Kawata (who previously worked on the two IPs) said:
"Capcom has obviously never shied away from bringing back our older IPs to new generations, but I do think it's more important for us to focus on creating new IP as we move forward."
Besides Onimusha Soul, a browser-based game released by Capcom last summer, both series' have been on hiatus since the mid-noughties.
Capcom nunca ha tenido reparos en traer de vuelta viejas propiedades intelectuales a las nuevas generaciones, pero creo que lo más importante para nosotros es centrarnos en crear nuevas propiedades intelectuales mientras avanzamo.
