As game designers ourselves, chatting with these masters of game development was an incredible learning experience  to improve our craft, and we believe more people should have access to that knowledge. Likewise, we believethese masters of game design deserve to have an outlet to talk games, without business pressures. 

  • The only way for them to talk openly about game design is to not be part of the mainstream media, but independent.

Luis with Akihiro Hino [Ni no Kuni], Hironobu Sakaguchi [Final Fantasy] , Toshihiro Nagoshi [Yakuza], and Goichi Suda [Lollipop Chainsaw Massacre] .

We will be traveling Japan for 10 weeks and meeting with creators of amazing Japanese games, interviewing them about how they made their games from a game development standpoint, what it took in terms of personal and professional effort, and what their advice for new game developers is. 
  • We will also ask them┬áyour questions!┬áWe have rewards that allow you to create and vote for questions to be asked to specific developers, so┬ámake sure to check those perks out!

The process of selecting and contacting developers is very time consuming, and between the community and ourselves we have to be able to make choices on the fly; however we have a working list you can access to view the names we are working with and the progress on interviewing them!
