No tengo el juego, pero una posible solución que dan aquí:

What I did was go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010 and found the DXSETUP and right clicked and ran it as admin so it reinstalled. I played it for a couple hours without crashing because it was doing it often, so far it seems to have fixed it. I can't guarantee it but it seemed to help me.
