PC MS DOS




Hacer un tema sobre PC es un verdadero reto... Es como poner en un mismo tema a 6 generaciones de consolas juntas.
Así que basándonos el PC como Ordenador Personal basado en la arquitectura x86, he decidido dividir el PC en dos grandes épocas: MSDOS y WINDOWS..
Aunque todavía con Windows 95 y 98 conviven el MS y WINDOWS... desde w95 ya a hay desarrolladores que optan por los nuevos SO...

La mayoría de ordenadores que he tenido han sido montados a piezas, pero si recuerdo el IBM PS/2 que entró en mi casa en 1992
Además hubo un 286 a 12MHz y un Pentium 133 donde todavía le di bastante uso al MS DOS 7.0... En el siguiente ordenador Pentium III casi no había juegos en MSDOS más que lo retro...

Pero por ejemplo hasta 1997 hay juegos como Quake, o Theme Hospital, que aún se publican originalmente en MSDOS.

Originalmente era un emulador de SCUMM, el motor de las aventuras de Lucas Arts. Pero se ha ido expandiendo tanto, que abarca muchos de Sierra, Cocktel, Revolution Software, y hasta RPGs como Eye opf the Beholder... Algunas desarrolladoras incluso ha liberado sus juegos, pudiendo descargarse gratuitamente desdela página de SCUMMVM

Emulador deMSDOS que permite laconpatibilidadcon todoslosjuegos para este SO... La última versión es la 0.74 y hay traducción al español.
