Un Pokémon Switch Direct podría producirse esta misma semana

Recientes rumores surgidos en las últimas horas y provenientes de una publicación de twitter de un usuario llamado Matt Hunt, indican que podríamos tener un Pokémon Switch Direct este mismo miércoles 28 de marzo. A pesar de que Hunt cita “fuentes fiables“, todo el mundo debería coger esta información con pinzas, ya que no se ha proporcionado ninguna prueba al respecto. Interesante recordar también que no es la primera vez que el río suena.
Aún así, a pesar del hecho de tener que llevar cuidado con esta información, no sería extraño que ver el nuevo Pokémon para Nintendo Switch más temprano que tarde, ya que otro rumor proveniente de Pokegraph apunta a una conferencia de Bandai Namco en mayo, en la cual se revelará una nueva línea de juguetes y productos basados en este nuevo título que está por salir. En caso de que esto fuese cierto, el supuesto Pokémon Switch Direct sorpresa de este miércoles cobraría mucho más sentido, ya que enseñar el juego antes que el merchandising basado en el mismo sería lo más lógico.
Por otra parte, Pokegraph también afirma que este nuevo Pokémon seguirá la tradición de la franquicia y se dividirá en dos versiones que serán lanzadas en diciembre de este mismo año. Del mismo modo, hay que insistir en que no existen evidencias de estos rumores, por lo que no hay que lanzar las campanas al vuelo. Pero de nuevo, no sería algo sorprendente, ya que estos nuevos títulos tienen una ventana de lanzamiento prevista entre finales de 2018 y principios de 2019, por lo que sería muy interesante por parte de Nintendo el aprovechar la campaña navideña para arrasar en ventas.

RUMOR: Chinese Image Teases New Features
Recently some of our loyal readers in Taiwan and China have contacted us about some information that allegedly comes from an internal working demo. Again, I must state quite plainly, this is absolutely hearsay until we have verifiable evidence. We won’t be posting any images, but we can break down what seemed to be shown along with some generalizations we can draw from it.
Seen:
PokéRide seems to be coming back, or at least the concept of riding Pokémon in the overworld. A trainer uses Lapras to navigate a water-based trail. The bulky gear that Lapras wore in Generation VII is gone, but the trainer still appears to have a helmet and sports outfit on while riding.
Following Pokémon may also be coming back. Whether any Pokémon can follow you or just a select few remains to be seen. In the demo an Eevee perched on the top of its trainers head while riding through the water on Lapras. It’s hard to imagine something bigger having that much leeway or how it would be handled. It follows that Eevee would stay outside of its Pokéball while walking as well.
Battles start by running into a Pokémon; or atleast it seems like it. Unlike previous installments in which players would randomly trigger battles while walking through grass, or surfing across the water, the water visibly and clearly show Pokémon models on the route swimming underneath you. Whether they aggressively try to chase you down or not also remains to be seen.
One more thing… the route looked suspiciously like one we’ve traveled before in a previous game. Hmm…
Again, remember, this could be an elaborate hoax to fool Pokémon fans. Don’t emotionally invest yourself in these rumors, just read them and let us know how you feel about them below!
We’ve seen a still from it personally and there were no other sources when reverse image searched, but it has a long way to go to proving its legitimacy. The graphics seemed adequate in nature and probably what fans would be expecting going from a handheld to a console.
