Online gaming publication Polygon recent had the opportunity to speak to Elite Beat Agents┬ádirector Keiichi Yano about the future of the franchise. It turns out that thereÔÇÖs a chance that the series could come back on NintendoÔÇÖs next platform the Nintendo NX.

ÔÇÿI think, as with many of these types of games that have this following and at some point they come back, I think there will be a right time when it feels like [the series] should come back. A lot of times, the platform will dictate those kind of things.ÔÇÖ

ÔÇÿIÔÇÖd certainly love to make another version of it, and hopefully itÔÇÖs on the next platformÔÇÖ, he added cryptically.
