Level-5 announced Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in the latest issue of CoroCoro. It will release this summer in Japan. 

The full title is Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Gakuen Y Wai-Wai Gakuen Seikatsu, but we’ll keep it Yo-kai Academy Y for now. In the game, players will partake in intense battles as “Yo-kai Heroes”. The game will also offer a school life experience of some sort so that probably means hanging out with Jibanyan and others in a school setting.

The magazine doesn’t go too much into detail, but Level-5 says that it will have a new system that we’ve yet to see from the series. With it coming out this summer, it shouldn’t be long until we get more details and a first look.

Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y will release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan in Summer 2020. The latest game from the series is Yo-kai Watch 4++ which released for Switch last December in Japan.
