Cita:After 2 years, 3 prints, and 8 versions of Pier Solar for the SEGA Mega Drive & SEGA Genesis - we are pleased to announce we have been hard at work on releasing Pier Solar in HD for Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Linux & SEGA Dreamcast.

From day one we've been getting requests to bring Pier Solar to platforms like Xbox 360. We've been listening carefully to you and we are very excited to bring Pier Solar to you on more platforms than ever before! The thing is, we don't just want to re-release Pier Solar on some new platforms. We want to redo the game in HD so it looks as stunning as it should. We are putting the same level of attention and detail into Pier Solar HD that we put into our original development. Trust us, it's going to be amazing.

The game will remain the same in essence - you'll still have everything that makes Pier Solar great (including the translations of 5 languages in every version!) - we will simply be redoing the graphics in high definition and releasing it on each respective platform so that everyone can play it! Of course we'll be adding some new things here and there, like achievements and trophies for Xbox 360. We'll take advantage of each platform and make it fit right.

La version HD que saldra para PC y XBox entre otras, si es un proyecto kickstarter, pero el juego original fue lanzado hace unos pocos años en version fisica para Megadrive/Genesis.

The Consecration and Reprint
Due to massive demand from thousands of players around the world,  had no choice but to make another run of its first game. The "reprint edition" features the exact same game as the original run, but comes in a custom made plastic box this time. Of significant note is the insert design resembling the "black grid" of older Mega Drive/Genesis games, the lack of optional disc and inclusion of English, French and German as playable languages.

Yo me estoy pensando soltar los 120$ de la edicion coleccionista de Dreamcast, para hacer compañia a la que ya tengo de Megadrive, y si el proyecto sale adelante, comprarlo en el bazar de 360...

¿Y que pasa con la PS Network ?

La verdad es que el cambio es cojonudo, aunque supongo que habrá a quien le disguste.

No me acaba de convencer. Si lo consiguen, guay... pero...

Es que veo el proyecto muy verde. En el video se pasan el rato enseñando el juego original, y las 4-5 imagenes que han sido posteadas, que de momento... solo son imágenes.

Me esperaré que salga, como dice chente.

Bueno, a base de lo que has dicho me he informado

Se ve que el juego lo comenzó en el 2004 un grupo de aficionados a las consolas de Sega. Originalmente se llamaba Tavern RPG. Ahora, el proyecto les fué creciendo y acabó en un... monstruo.

Ya han conseguido el dinero que necesitaban. A falta de 6 días para que acabe, han puesto nuevas metas, entre ellas, una versión para Wii U.
