P: Which are your favorite metroidvania games (and which of them inspired you to do Hollow Knight)? And your favorite games in general?

R1:I can't pick a favourite, but have you ever played Ufouria: The Saga for the NES? I think it never came out in the US so it;s not widely known (not even Ari has played it ). It's incredible! A really fun, bright, surprising, adventurous metroidvania. Find it and give it a shot!

R2:Faxanadu is my favourite metroidvania! It's set in a kingdom build about a giant tree, and your adventure has you ascend from the roots to the branches.
Hollow Knight is kind of a reverse Faxanadu, where that game was about ascent, ours is about heading ever deeper, with the world's truths hidden at the very bottom.

Tengo que decir que no conocia ninguno de los dos.

P: Are you planning or at least talking about your next project? If you decide to change the genre, which one would you choose for a new project?

R: We'll be busy with Hollow Knight stuff (content packs, Hornet DLC, ports etc) for a bit longer but we do have a solid idea for what we want to do next. It's a different type of game to Hollow Knight, although the things we love most will be brought over - adventure, exploration, funny characters, surprises etc.

Por fin lo tengo y he empezado. Apenas 45 minutos, dar unas vueltas por ahí abajo, conectar con un... "tranvía" y comprar un mapa. Promete mucho. Encantado con él.

Yo no quería empezarle ahora cuando acabe Tyranny, pero es que me falta casi 1 mes para Divinity y era este o Dishonored 2.
O volver al Tyranny y terminarlo de otra manera.....

Es un juegarro, si. Bien puede acabar siendo lo mejor del genero.

6 horas y media llevo. Es un juegazo de pelotas con un diseño de niveles que es cremita.
