La próxima consola de Nintendo, nombre clave NX, necesitará un catálogo apoyado por las third-party -otros estudios- para competir con PS4 y Xbox One, ha dicho el analista Michael Pachter de Wedbush Morgan, citando la colaboración de editoras como EA y Ubisoft.
"Si Nintendo tiene el mismo nivel de apoyo para NX que tuvo para Wii U, está acabada antes de lanzarse".
"Eso es mucho, mucho más importante que el precio. Si tienen apoyo third-party, si hacen que todos puedan llevar cada juego -a la consola- y el coste de hacerlo para PS4, Xbox One y NX es de 1-2 millones de dólares, todos los juegos estarán ahí".
Patcher cree que diferenciar la tecnología de lo que ofrecen Sony o Microsoft impedirá a este apoyo: "Si es un lenguaje diferente, o requiere otro tipo de programación, o hace algo con el GamePad con un mando diferente como el de Wii U, está muerta. Nadie la apoyará".
"Cuanto más se parezca a PS4 o Xbox One lo mejor, y en definitiva, la única gente que la comprará son los que no tienen esas consolas. O gente que las tiene y quieren jugar a juegos de Nintendo".

Online publication GamingBolt recently had the chance to speak to Wedbush Securities electronics analyst Michael Pachter regarding Nintendo’s upcoming console the NX.
GamingBolt asked him about where the NX fits in with the upcoming launch of the PS4 Pro and Xbox One Scorpio, and he noted that the system’s price in the market would be a make or break factor in the console’s success.
“If the NX is really a handheld with a docking station, it could have trouble getting noticed,” Pachter explained. “I think that NX will sell well if it gets third party support, and in order for that to happen, it has to be something that publishers think will sell well. It’s still impossible to have a forecast when we don’t actually know what it is or what it will cost. If it’s a console and costs $199, it will sell extremely well; if it’s a handheld and costs $399, it’s dead in the water. The odds are that it’s something in between, but I don’t want to guess until I see what it is.”
There has been no word on how much the NX will cost as of yet, and details on the new console have been sparse. The rumour mill has been full of predictions and speculation, but solid details on price and specifications are yet to be revealed.
