Investigative sleuth Emily Rogers has possibly teased a North American release for Mother 3. She tweeted the image that can be seen above with the hashtag 2016 and also apparently wrote the following tweet and has since deleted it ÔÇ£One last thing before I vanish: DonÔÇÖt be surprised if Nintendo celebrates a gameÔÇÖs 10th anniversary this yearÔǪJust some food for thought.ÔÇØ Rogers has been known to be privy┬áto insider information at Nintendo so we can only hope that this information is legitimate.

Para luego Liam Robertson añadió que NoE también está detrás de la traducción del juego:

Liam Robertson has tweeted that he had heard that Mother 3 was in the final stages of localisation at Nintendo Europe a short while back which further adds to this particular rumour.

pues está en gameboy advance con una traducción al español, yo lo tengo en la GPD y todavía no lo he tocado.

Es más emocionalmente intenso que Earthbound... La cual es una de las razones por las que Earthbound me gusta un poco más. El extraño sentimiento de despreocupación que tiene Earthbound se me antoja muy interesante y único. Mother 3 también tiene un estilo muy suyo, pero su trama es algo más tocando los pies en la tierra en temas de seriedad. Lo que no significa que no tenga su sarta de excentricidades y situaciones cómicas, simplemente considero que ambos tienen un enfoque distinto dentro de la saga.
Ambos están entre mis 10 RPGs preferidos, así que...
