  • Development started after Sekiro got released
  • Published by Activision
  • Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki
  • Mecha/Third Person RPG
  • Armored Core spiritual successor similar in vein in how Sekiro was a spiritual successor to Tenchu
  • Will release only on PS5, XSX and PC (No Oldgen release)
  • Will use an updated version of From Software's engine (DS1 to Bloodborne can be a good comparison)
  • Release window was at first (around January 2020) Q1 (March) 2022 but due to Covid game got pushed back Q1/Q2 2023
  • Will feature character and mecha customization
  • The main character will have a voice actor/actress
  • Will feature Mutliplayer
  • Open World
  • Main character is a human like android loyal to an AI supercomputer (The A.I computer is the firekeeper like character)
  • Hub world is what appears to be a destroyed laboratory with androids that look similar to your created character
  • You can use your mecha to travel across the large open world
  • When you are in tight spaces (interconnected dark souls like areas) you will use your character to traverse the area
  • Different factions led by A.I supercomputers are fighting for scarce resources in order to construct a machine/device that was lost in a war that was fought thousands of years ago
  • Your A.I master will send you to ruins of cities or enemy factions bases to gather intel about the said device
  • The device is some sort of device that allows ones conciousness to be stored in a higher dimension
  • Currently the story has 4 endings planned all relating to the relationship between your character and the A.I computer
  • Currently the story has 4 endings planned all relating to the relationship between your character and the A.I computer
  • The game has two currencies One for leveling up your character the other for leveling up your mecha and buying supplies/weapons/clothing
  • Chalice dungeon system will return. There will be A.I generated "training programs" that are generated by the A.I supercomputer
  • There are no "humans" in the game
  • There will be segments or areas where you can only beat them using your Mecha
  • There is a lot of customization options for your mecha
  • Your mecha has four stats: Speed, Durability (Defense), Attack, Health
  • You can customize how the parts of your mecha looks and you will find pieces scattered around the world
  • Along with your regular clothing and weapon options you will also be able to replace your body parts
  • Body parts will play a similiar role to trick weapons from Bloodborne and they will be scattered around the world
  • There are six seperate factions each led by an A.I supercomputer
  • Each A.I supercomputer has an speicla ability they excel in and the factions are based around that ability
PS5 XSX and PC and that it will be released in Q1 or Q2 2023
