Ayer lo estuve jugando y me recordó mucho a Little Big Planet. El juego es graciosete y la demo te muestra lo básico. Al final de esta te muestran pantallas de lo que será el juego en niveles avanzados y la cosa tiene su miga porque las pantallas giran con interruptores, varios caminos con objetos ocultos, bastante por recorrer.
El caso es que se me hizo repetitivo y aunque es atractivo, me costaría pagar el dinero que vale por él así que tendré que descartarle.

[RUMOR] Nintendo puede anunciar RV para Switch este mismo año

According to a report from Nintendo World Report, “Nintendo could make its first VR-related announcement as early as this year”. Emily Rogers, who wrote the piece, cites having heard about this from “multiple sources.” Rogers adds that “a small, select number of traditional first-party software titles may receive VR support in the not-so-distant future.”

Nintendo has commented on the possibility of virtual reality in the past, but has never made a clear indication that such a feature is planned for Switch. We’ll have to see how things pan out in the future.

Chinatsu Kurahana, conocida por su trabajo en Uta no Prince-Sama, es la responsable del diseño de personajes de Fire Emblem: Three Houses


Si hay un dato que ha estado rondando por la cabeza de muchos de los interesados en el nuevo Fire Emblem: Three Houses ese se corresponde con la autoría del diseño de los personajes del juego.


Y es que, hasta ahora, este dato era una incógnita para todos los fans. El estilo del juego se veía algo diferente a los anteriores, aunque mantenía la esencia, por lo que los jugadores no sabían si se había mantenido a diseñadores de anteriores entregas o se había cambiado, como ha sucedido en la mayoría de juegos de la serie.

Pues bien, tras su presentación en el Nintendo Direct de anoche, hemos podido conocer gracias a la propia Nintendo que Chinatsu Kurahana es la responsable del diseño de personajes de esta entrega. Puede que el nombre de la artista os suene, pues ha trabajado en grandes proyectos como Uta no Prince-Sama, Thou Shalt Not Die, Samurai Flamenco, Aquarion Evol o Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters.

Ahora parece que Nintendo ha pensado en ella para esta nueva entrega de Fire Emblem para Nintendo Switch. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Creéis que ha sido un acierto? ¿Os gusta su estilo?

Rune Factory 5 saldrá en 2020

Rune Factory may not be the biggest franchise around, but fans have been clamoring for its return. It’s been several years since the series’ last entry, Rune Factory 4. As we found out in this week’s Nintendo Direct, Rune Factory is coming back in a big way starting this year.

Rune Factory 4 Special kicks things off for 2019. The Switch version of the 3DS title drops later this year in the west, but Japan has a confirmed release date of July 25.

Rune Factory 5 was also announced in this week’s Nintendo Direct. Unfortunately, almost no information has been said about the game thus far. The Nintendo Direct didn’t mention it, but we do actually know that it’s due out sometime in 2020.

[RUMOR] Nintendo está reviviendo un juego de una serie que estaba muerta y enterrada

Earlier in the week, Game Informer senior editor Imran Khan stopped by the Kinda Funny Games Daily show. Khan ended up sharing what sounds like a pretty interesting rumor regarding Nintendo reviving a “dead and buried” game.

He stated:

“Let me hint at something, I guess. This is a thing that I’m going to write up at some point as soon as I get some more sources on it. But there’s a game that’s thought to be dead that Nintendo’s reviving, and it’s not one that people would expect. It was very much a title that was dead and buried – very officially cancelled.”

Khan added that he’s “heard enough about this game that I’m almost sure it exists again.” Beyond that, what this game might be is a mystery.

A bit later on in the show, Khan also spoke about the possibility of Kingdom Hearts on Switch. Kingdom Hearts III is looking unlikely based on what he’s heard, but the HD re-releases might be more feasible.

Khan said, “Last I heard, there was a talk between Nintendo and Square Enix about what they could do with Kingdom Hearts III. It was deemed unfeasible to get Kingdom Hearts III on the Switch.” Although Switch supports Unreal Engine 4, the game is “very demanding” and “not necessarily you can put out without pairing it down a lot.” While he’s unsure if the remasters are “actively being worked on”, he believes “that’s probably where they settled on it.”

King Zell (que está acertando en casi todo lo que está filtrando): En Marzo se anunciarán nuevo juegos third, de los muchos sin anunciar para este año

King Zell, a leaker that has gotten many things right in the last few months, has posted an interesting message on the ResetERA forum this week.

According to the leaker, there are many third party Nintendo Switch games that have not been announced, and some of these titles will be announced in March 2019. He added that the third party games will make 2019 “even more amazing”.

Here are his words:

Cita:‘You know that this is gonna be an amazing year for Switch when Nintendo showed all this on Direct and we already know that there so much yet to be shown “AC,LM3,Pokemon etc”.

Also alot of third party games are yet to be announced “some in March” that will make this year even more amazing.’

Rumor: Scalebound estaría en desarrollo para Nintendo Switch

En 2017 Microsoft anunció la cancelación de Scalebound, un ambicioso proyecto de rol y acción desarrollado por PlatinumGames dirigido por Hideki Kamiya -Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Okami-. Ahora nuevos rumores plantean un giro un tanto inesperado: estaría en marcha y en exclusiva para Nintendo Switch.

Ayer os comentamos que según Imran Khan, editor sénior de la revista Game Informer, Nintendo estaría trabajando en resucitar un juego "muerto y enterrado". Mucho se ha especulado con este título ya que Khan no ofrece ninguna pista, pero en las últimas horas han aparecido rumores que apuntan a Scalebound. Nintendo Insider dice por sus fuentes que este juego de PlatinumGames es el proyecto resucitado y que ahora pasaría a ser un juego exclusivo de Switch.

"Debido a la participación original de Microsoft no está claro si el desarrollo ha sido completamente reiniciado o al menos se ha reducido la ambición -ya que ahora está destinado a una consola portátil y menos potente-" dice el artículo. "Creo que Scaleboundes el juego 'que se pensaba muerto y Nintendo resucita' comentado por Imran Khan en Kinda Funny Games la semana pasada. Sin embargo, hay la posibilidad de que él oyese sobre otro proyecto resucitado".

Alanah Pearce, antigua redactora de IGN, ha publicado un mensaje en Twitter sobre este rumor: "Me contaron que Scalebound se lanzaría -pero no como una exclusiva de Xbox- por alguien que considero bastante creíble en junio del año pasado, pero no le creí. Puede que sea cierto".





JP Kellams, antiguo productor de Scalebound que abandonó el estudio poco después de su cancelación, no cree estos rumores, aunque admite que "no lo sé. Ya no trabajo allí y no he oído a nadie hablar sobre esto, pero dudo que sea real".




Kellams comenta que al menos cuando trabajó en el proyecto la licencia era de Microsoft, y razona que no ve mucha lógica en resucitar el juego debido a las diferencias en hardware. "En este momento, tiene más sentido hacer un juego completamente nuevo. No es que Scalebound fuese una licencia querida. Nunca tuvo oportunidad de serlo".




Scalebound era un hack and slash con tintes roleros que destacaba por el vínculo de su protagonista con un dragón. Juntos podrían combatir y colaborar para derrortar a sus enemigos comunes; en algunos momentos funcionaría con inteligencia artificial -dando órdenes- pero también podríamos montar y volar sobre él.

CD Projekt parece interesado en llevar juegos a Nintendo Switch

Algunos internautas particularmente avispados han informado recientemente que CD Projekt Red tendría interés en llevar al menos uno de sus videojuegos a la consola Nintendo Switch, a juzgar por una de sus actuales ofertas de trabajo. En ella, el equipo polaco busca un jefe de ingeniería para GOG Galaxy que, entre otras cosas, facilitará la tarea de conectar jugadores de todas las plataformas. Juego o progresión cruzados, en otras palabras.

"Los jugadores son los pilares de todo lo que hacemos, y por ello queremos ofrecerles los mejores entornos para que saquen partido a sus juegos" se puede leer en el artículo. "Imagina poder conectar con otros colegas jugadores independientemente de la plataforma donde compran y juegan a sus títulos. Imagina una aplicación de escritorio que permita reunir a todos los juegos y amigos en un solo lugar. Por último, imagina que los desarrolladores pudieran conectar jugadores de GOG, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation y Nintendo Switch".

Aunque muchos aficionados ya apuestan a que veremos títulos como Gwent o Thronebreaker en Switch, lo cierto es que el fragmento podría ser erróneo o demasiado revelador: en el momento de escribir estas líneas, se ha modificado ligeramente para ocultar los nombres de las plataformas.
