Hola.

Las ventas de New 3DS son alarmantes, pero sin New 3DS a estas alturas 3DS estaría a un par de meses de su funeral. Aunque al final 3DS no logre alargar dos años su vida comercial, al menos tendrá un respiro que de otra forma no podría haber tenido.

Respecto al software. Las ventas de Rubí y Zafiro son obscenas para el poco esfuerzo que ha puesto Game Freak, como era de esperar. Youkai Watch 2 vanilla está a poco menos de 100k de alcanzar los tres millones de unidades, seguro que los consigue con el paso del tiempo. Dynasty Warriors está acabada tanto en PS3 como en PS4, algo bastante irónico viendo el auge del género Musou.

Bonito fostión se ha pegado Captain Toad. Es triste que uno de los mejores equipos desarrolladores del mundo se haya pegado tal golpe en ventas con su último producto.

3DS sigue en línea descendente tal como se preveía con nueva revisión en el mercado (porque el año pasado era previsible que tendría otra revisión, ya se tenía en cuenta). Por supuesto, sin revisión la caída hubiera sido aún mayor, eso nadie lo duda.

Aquí pongo las predicciones que pusimos Lion Roar y yo en enero del hardware total que pensábamos que se iba a vender en Japón durante todo el 2014:

Lo triste es que no pensé mis números como optimistas cuando hice las predicciones. Y probablemente todas se queden por debajo de ellos (bueno, PS4 y Vita podrían quedarse relativamente cerca si tienen un buen diciembre). Para el año que viene no me apunto a esa clase de porra, que será un año nefasto y no quiero deprimirme más. lol

Gracias por los datos lion.

Esperaba más de Untold. Esto confirma la ligera fatiga de la franquicia, y aún faltan dos más por salir, sin tener en cuenta un hipotético Untold 3. Es ridículo.

Si Persona Q salía este año, no deberían haber lanzado Untold 2, 6 meses después.

Claro que no dejan de ser remakes, pero aún así Untold hizo mejores números.

PD: EOV debe salir a finales del año que viene y debe suponer un cambio en la saga. No bastará con meter una historia y unos personajes pre-establecidos. En este sentido, tiene que beber de Persona Q. Más dinamismo en los combates y un sistema de habilidades más vistoso. Añadir más capas de jugabilidad al mapa también debería ayudar.

Yo es que creo que salen demasiado poco espaciados los EO... en DS salieron 3 y ahora llevaremos 2 nuevos, 2 remakes y un corssover... Personalmente se debían de haber evitado los remakes. Además son juegos dificiles y largos, que saturan un poco... y requeiren cierto descanso entre una entrega y otra...

Estoy de acuerdo con que están sobreexplotando la saga EO, y no ayudó que anunciaran dos juegos antes de la salida de éste, ni que lo lanzaran en una época del año con tanta competencia (Monster Hunter, Pokémon, Youkai Watch...), cuando los otros los lanzaron en verano.

Phantasy Star Nova también se la pegó horriblemente, y en general casi todo el software nuevo vendió mediocremente, a juzgar por los porcentajes de Famitsu. Es curioso, porque el hardware mejoró esta semana y lo seguirá haciendo en diciembre, pero las ventas de software no parecen reactivarse más allá del puñado de grandes juegos de 3DS.

Una cosa que quiero consultar de cara a la porra de fin de año. ¿Qué hacemos con el double pack de Pokémon OR/AS? Media Create lo contó por separado (la semana pasada, ésta no ha vuelto a aparecer). Teniendo en cuenta que costaba exactamente igual que los dos juegos por separados, los sumamos al total multiplicándolo por dos? (A mí me parece lo más lógico) ¿Lo contamos como una unidad? ¿No lo contamos?
