Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap para Switch has vendido más que el resto de versiones combinadas
The folks over at Gamasutra recently talked to several indie developers about the Switch – about what’s like to develop for the system, how Nintendo got into contact with them, and so on. One of the developers they interviewed was Omar Cornut from Lizardcube, the team responsible for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. It seems the game did quite well on the Switch – Cornut said that they sold “more copies of Wonder Boy on the Switch than the three other platforms we released on combined”. Definitely a sign of a smaller games library and thus more exposure for smaller titles, but good news nonetheless for developers and Nintendo alike.

Podríamos pensar que es casualidad, pero lo cierto es que el chico que desarrolló Unepic ya dijo en su día que las ventas del juego eran muy superiores en WiiU con respecto a las demás consolas. Y eso con una base bajisima de consolas (de WiiU)

La versión de Forma.8 de Switch también es la más vendida en consolas (y sólamente superada por la de iOS entre todas):

En todas las europeas y en la sudafricana.
Dependiendo de tu tarjeta, en Japón también, aunque lo normal es que no puedas.
Lo que está capado sobre todo es América. En plan USA y Canadá.
